Biography

I’m an Italian documentary photographer and multimedia journalist. I live in Rome and Potenza, Italy.

After having completed a graduation in Science of Communication, in 2001 I started working as journalist for several local newspapers and radios.

In 2007 I got a job as correspondent from Italy for the British press agency Central European News (CEN).

During these years I developed my passion for photography and had also the chance to realize some photo reportages.

In summer 2008 I published a book with my colleague Valentina Dello Russo over the work of the the Italian priest father Ferdinando Castriotti in El Paraiso, Honduras.

In 2008 I became a full-time professional photoreporter, focusing mainly on social themes and projects relating to the worlds of industry and business.

I usually work on human-made injustice matters: living conditions, health and human rights on ‘last people of the world’ (mainly children).

I believe documentary photography should be a way in promoting awareness, political and juridical change and in promoting action by NGOs, governmental bodies and individuals.

I also work as contributor for LaPresse photo agency covering current news and politics and my pictures have been published by newspapers like Corriere della Sera, Il Sole 24 Ore, Il Giornale, Il Messaggero, Libero, La Nazione, L’Unità, Metro and magazines like Vanity Fair and Oggi.

In 2012 I founded the business network LHub221, that deals with full spectrum of communication for private and public companies.
