Biography
John Franzen was born in 1981 in Aachen, Germany. In 2001 he successfully completed high school education in the technical institute in Belgium. He graduated in 2008 Maastricht with the Bachelor of Fine Arts. Since then Franzen works in several disciplines and with different materials, selling his works globally.
John Franzen examines humanness in its original forms, ranging from serenity in the darkness, to the singularity of ritualistic creation of artwork for arts sake. He focuses on translation of complex concepts and structures often inspired by his observations of the inner and outer natural world.
