Biography
Lorella Comi was born in Sassari in 1962, where she lives and works.
Daughter of art, she begins to take her first steps in the world of photography in the family studio, naturally acquiring knowledge and skills. Initially, the artistic research, prefers the landscape and reportage aspects lingering on naturalistic details. Later he developed a very personal style in the composition and cutting of images, which favor architecture in the landscape, city streets, interiors of houses, theaters and clubs. The images are characterized by bright and vivid colors, and the spaces are real but in them there is something metaphysical. The composition of the images is sometimes geometric, with "artificial" lights, rarefied that reshape the real. The scene is often deserted, there is rarely more than one human figure. Currently artistic research makes use of different expressive mediums, photography supports video, both analog and digital.
