Elena Catalan born in S. Giovanni Rotondo and resident of San Severo ( FG ) is a graduate student of 2nd level Academy of Fine Arts in Painting ,makes paintings and drawings by choosing solutions mainly formal , Catalan often creates works using creative tactics , but these are never permissive . The game is a serious matter : during the game , different rules apply in life everyday and even everyday objects undergo transubstantiation .
His paintings sometimes radiate cold and latent violence . Sometimes , there emerges a staggering beauty . The visual seduction intrinsic , together with the conciseness of the exhibitions , further complicates the receipt of the multiple layers of meaning . Applying a poetic language and often metaphorical , which often creates several works although similar at first sight , on which the thoughts that are apparently just been developed manifest themselves in bodies and female forms .
