Biography
Roberta Vescio began his artistic career as a fashion designer and then embark on a personal artistic research by himself that will lead to the realization of paintings made with different techniques: oil paint, acrylic paint and works with different materials. After graduation in Conservation and Management of Cultural Heritage (2013) in December 2013 became curator of the exhibition "Art Sottozero" made in Alba Adriatica with the support of the Pro Loco, where he exhibited for the first time his works in addition to treating the 'general decor, manage and select the various artists who participated in the exhibition. In 2014 at the Dep Art (Centre pulifunzionale Grottammare) held his first solo exhibition "UNIVERSI INVERSE" and participates in the performing arts at the mall "The Clock" of Groton and the subsequent exhibition of the artists who participated in the performances .
The painting of Roberta Vescio can be defined a path within, in the emotional spiral of his soul, with the coexistence of opposing forces and penetrate. This emotional status can be seen from very expressive brushwork reminiscent of Expressionist art, but also the Action painting, because sometimes prevails instinct and action of the paint. In addition to this artistic trend we can find in the art of Roberta also a reference to the painting in mixed media by inserting his own works of foreign elements in the painting and made of imaginary flowers and sometimes monstrous that generate magic stones or spirals of iron sticking out of the canvas, to place of the leaves have swan feathers, and sometimes we can see the faces or small moons instead of petals or fruits.
