Biography
Eva Amos was born in Samara, Russia, into a family of two artists in 1986. Since early childhood the girl was developing artistic world-view and she received her first lessons on art esthetics and theory of color at home. However as well as the rest of the children she started her formal education at arts school and went on to study graphic design at pedagogical college. The artist’s further destiny is connected with St. Petersburg where she graduated from the institute and wrote her thesis about influence of modern communications on cultural paradigms. But Eva’s art potential came into bloom in Italy where she moved in 2014.
Life in Milan has seen Eva’s attitude globally changed thanks to the cultural environment of that country. Strict canons of the Russian arts school combined with Italian indolence and brightness blended into a style which she defined as a "mix of pop art and cubism". Geometric forms are consistent in her works. At the same time uncharacteristically shouting colour scale reminds us of pop art, with its brightness, spontaneity and bold use of colour.
