Biography

Natalia Wiernik was born 1989. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow at the Graphic Department since 2008. Graduated in 2013. In her works Wiernik combines skills as
a photographer, painter and graphic artists. Selected achievements: She was a grant holder from the Ministry of Culture in 2014 and Ministry of Science and Higher Education
2013 in Poland. In 2013 she won Sony World Photography Awards, in 2014 – one of the winners PDN, Paris Photography Prize, International Photography Award,One Eyeland,
received finalist status in New York Photo Awards 2013 and People category of Sony World Photography Awards – Open Competition 2013. Double semifinalist in Adobe Design
Achievments Awards (2013, 2012), laureate of „International Photography Confrontation – Just One Photo” – Prize from the Foundation „Photography for the future”. August 2012, Los
Angeles – Honourable mention, International Photography Awards. May 2011 – as a one of four people from Poland, was chosen to represent the country at an international contest in
Munich – Münchner Künstlerhaus Goldener Kentaur „Sein und Schein“ 2011. She was nominated for an award and took part in an exhibition in Munich. Now she continues PhD
studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow.
