Biography

Cristina Landi was born in Florence in 1962. She cultivates a passion for drawing since childhood, a passion that even the incidental loss of right eye sight limited, becoming, indeed, a cause for greater diligence.
She studied by herself assiduously documenting the techniques of drawing and painting in general, experiencing the use of graphite, colored pencils, watercolor and oil.
In 2010 She studies in deep her knowledge thanks to the meeting with the artists Mauro Sarti, Grazia Bonini (aka Grabon) and Domenico Mileto. She continues working and studing by herself focusing on graphite drawing, not forgetting, however, the oil painting or the testing of new materials such as Ecoline.
In 2014 she opens a small studio together with her daughter, where she works and teaches the basics of drawing, oil painting, watercolor and computer graphics.
She has participated in group exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Florence Merlin, the Art Gallery and Mentana and the small cloister of the Basilica of Santa Croce proving a positive appreciation from the audience.
