Biography
Silvia Paci was born in Prato in 18/12/1990. She got a degree at Academy of Art in Florence in 2012. She works mainly with oil on canvas, representing humans and bodies. Suffering is a very recurring theme in her work, from the physical to the mental, for this reason she deforms faces and paint people who are undergoing surgery or people who have suffered violence. She is inspired by images of films or photos that realized herself or images found on the web. She is interested in study of the body and its imperfections, sometimes including abstract interventions on traditional images.
