Biography
Alessandra Damiano was born in Milan in 1975 and since childhood has shown a strong interest in the techniques and decorative painting that led to achieve artistic maturity. She graduated in Education since 2002 and has worked as an official in various public institutions in Milan, including the University of Milan-Bicocca and the Milan City Council. 2014 has adhered to many cultural and artistic activities promoted from the growing network of associations Milan participating in exhibitions and group exhibitions of young artists. His great passion for art and painting led her to experiment, in a completely autonomous, different painting techniques and decorative material. In his paintings looking to relocate his thoughts creating fantasy worlds and dream, where feelings and emotions, roam free, crossed by the power of dreams, and revealing the various facets of the female. In his representations the dream vision becomes "soul therapy and existence" which reunites the observer to its inner space. In his works the domain harmonious color, with its lively contrasts and color, evokes "the magical side of things" that encourages them to immerse themselves in the worlds open to exploration and sharing of feelings and emotions.
Each work is almost always associated with a dreamlike story invented by the artist through the selection of images and some details made . For the artist painting is the possibility of building a unique mirror , where beyond the borders of the white canvas , can create an indefinite cosmos , composed of colors, lights , emotions, perceptions , that thanks to the painting becomes an image and acquire a life of its own . His creations are transformed into a window , or in a gap through which the viewer a painting makes its own journey , accompanied by his stories .
