Biography
I’m an artisi and archaeologist currently living in north-eastern Italy.
I spend my time working at the local archaeology museum in Oderzo, Treviso, making drawings of ancient roman and protohistorian artifacts and taking students on guided tours of the current exhibitions and ruins around my city.
My work is created spontaneously, by an instinct and I don’t usually have any particular subject for my paintings or illustrations. Throughout my work I like to keep some elements and symbols, but the main characters are always changing, which seem to constitute a kind of foreign elements that are part of the scene, sometimes taking actions, sometimes passively watching what is happening. I usually work directly on the canvas, with pencil or charcoal and then using either oil painting or acrylic.
