Biography

Giusi Lorelli lives and works in Genoa (Italy). Her artistic research starts from street portrait and documentary and during the last years it is progressively focused on digital postproduction tecniques, finding in the art of Andrzey Dragan, Maggie Taylor and Jerry Uelsmann, new important points of reference. From 2001 to 2013 she is also an actress of Akropolis Theatre Company taking part to all pieces of the group. Her reportage are Toros de Lidia (Pamplona 2009), Vive Sainte Sara! (Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer 2010), Dell’Alba e del Mattino (Italy 2011). Her digital art works are: Studi 2012, Gemelli: il Maschio e la Femmina (2014), Accetta il dono (2014), Trittico dell’abbandono (2014), Traversata del Gobi (2014), Il duca d’Auge esce dalla Storia (2015). Through 2011 and 2013 her works were exhibited in Barcelona, Paris, Neaples, Nice, Modena, Genoa, Tourin and Venice. In 2015 she takes part to Milano Expo International Contemporary Art exhibition.
