Biography

Francesca Romana Farinella resides and works in Palestrina (Rm). It showed from childhood creative skills in design in painting and embroidery. He attended high school "A.Labriola" Ostia (Rm) and has specialized in Neurophysiology at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome but has always had a passion for art. During his years at the school of art "The Citadel" in Palestrina, crucial to the artistic training, he was able to perfect the techniques of expression under the guidance of Maestro Gabriel Iagnocco. Attracted by the art of embroidery attended the "School of Embroidery", an important landmark in Palestrina to produce amazing works and enhancement of embroidery prenestino, refining the technique, using the expertise of the Master Augusto Croce. Since 1994 he exhibited his paintings in various art exhibitions and participates in competitions obtaining flattering awards from organizations and public authorities. He held his first solo exhibition in 2002 in Palestrina. Since then he has stepped artistic engagements focusing on the implementation of female figures, landscapes, flowers and still lifes chromatically designed to better convey the depths of his soul; his emotions take shape now through the use of the trowel that offers immediacy and body in the creation of still lifes, now through the brush and the brush in the creation of female characters delicate and sensual. Since 2002 has sought comparison in particular with the artists of Rome, Padua, Ferrara, San Gimignano (Si), Pomezia (Rm), Florence, Milan, Barcelona, ​​Vienna, Areos De Valdevez (Portugal). In 2008 she was selected by the Atelier d'Arte Piacenza Sara Braceschi for participation in the seventh edition of the Biennale of Rome with an exhibition of his works at the prestigious Sala del Bramante. In June 2009 she was selected with the painting "Ballet Flamenco" for participation in the "Spring Prize" XXI and rewarded at the Sala Campidoglio in Rome.
