Biography
My works are Collages or Assanblages.
I like to include in my works objects which are mostly coming from nature, like shells, pieces of lobsters or any kind of little objects. Arranging these objects into a composition they are reaching a completely new significance.
In a certain way it is a sort of recycling, because most of these objects would just end up in the dust bin!
I also like to highlight them by making them more valuable with gold and silver. It is a tremendous fascination for myself to give importance to things which normally are getting no attention.
As it is stated by Paul Klee:
"Art does not reproduce what is visible- art makes things visible".
