Biography

Christine Clément is an argentinian contemporary artist who became a graphic designer in 1992, then began to study history of art and painting techniques, performing some exhibitions.

For family reasons, she moved to Santiago de Chile where participated in different work-shops and art exhibitions: a) Her first individual exhibition was “Geografía del Alma (Geography of the soul)”, where she expressed her love to her country (Argentina), b)
Also the exhibition was made in the Argentina Embassy in Santiago de Chile. The painting “El Faro (The Lighthouse)” was donated to the Embassy and you can see it now in one of the main rooms there, c) Christine also organizated the exhibition about Ana Frank in the jewish club Maccabi, d) In December 2010 the exhibition “Contacto Andino” organizated by Municipality Government was made. It was about a modern vision of the art of the Andean culture, e) In May 2011, seven of her paintings were included in the “Argentine artists´ exhibition” organizated by the Argentine Embassy in Chile. Then she received the award “Cross of the Andes” for her career, and f) the last exhibitions were in the Artium Gallery and Atelier4 gallery (in 2014) in Santiago de Chile.
