Biography
Born in Manduria in 1986, she lives and works in Milan.
She graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti of Brera where she specialized in Visual Art at the Painting class. She took part in various exhibits and shows, both national and international and obtained several awards. She took part in educational workshops, conducted by renowned visiting professor as Cesare Viel, Virginia Ryan, Bruna Esposito for an artist's residency at theMuseo Pino Pascali.
She explores various areas of the visual art, giving preference to painting and design, the costant practices of her artistic journey. Her artistic research, pertains to the analysis of the behavioral dynamic and balances of the matter; particularity the gravitational dynamic, between balance and fall, in the costant effort of elevation. She investigated the image, understanding it not as the substitute of the surrounding reality, but as the product of imagination, guardian of a mystery that brings back to the abysmal land. There is no narration or a representation of reality, instead, the image is in its unveiling; it’s the strength of the apparition put under form of existence. his is action power of the matter based on a principle of energy resonance. The works are considered the tangible testament of the direct correspondence of a ‘body to body’; they are the results of a repeating series, of performing gestures and actions, in a struggle with the transitory and transforming state of the matter.
