Biography
Stefania Lomi was born in Lodi in 1980.
She graduated from the Art School "Bruno Cassinari", in Piacenza, and got a degree with honors in Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in MIlan with the thesis "Rodin vs Wildt. The search for the spirit in its marmoreal incarnation”.
After her studies, she refined her marble working method in Pietrasanta (Tuscany, Italy. In 2009, in Volterra she discovered another material, which is much closer to her artistic sensibility: the alabaster.
For her pictorial and sculptural abilities she has worked for several clients and as an Art teacher, but it is in the intimacy of the relationship with the natural material that quenches the attraction she feels for sculpture and organic forms.
