Biography
Hamburg based artist Annika Unterburg (*1978) studied from 1998-2004 communication design & illustration at HAW Hamburg and fine arts at the class of Wolfgang Müller (Die Tödliche Doris) at HFBK Hamburg.
Annika Unterburg works within a number of media as well as in the public space. In her pictures, objects and installations she combines reduction, seriality and unusual materiality rich in tension and humor with each other.
Her works have been already shown in Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and India. For her collaborative project “Mobile Architecture Model” she was awarded the CUBEOpen Prize.
