Biography
My preferred media, traditional drawing with graphite and charcoal pencils, allows me to render every intricacy of my subject with painstaking accuracy. To capture the drama and visceral qualities of equine moments, I focus heavily on anatomy and attention to detail. I utilize angles that are unseen and unconventional in traditional equine art. I maintain an aesthetic awareness, keeping the backdrops minimalistic as not to impede on the power and impact of the horse on the viewer. My work offers a contemporary, unique vision of the subject.
I am a sophomore Studio Art major at Columbus State University, taking courses in drawing, digital design, and three-dimensional design. I have worked as an equine/landscape/portrait artist, receiving commissions and selling prints globally. My art has also been showcased in international juried exhibits.
I am also a contributing writer to International Racehorse Magazine, and my work has been featured in a number of horse racing publications. I author my own website, Bits N' Bunny, which has received over 200,000 visits.
