Biography

Alessandro Di Vicino Gaudio graduated in 2004 in Painting
to the state institute of art "F. Russoli "from Pisa.
In his paintings he tries to recreate the great upheavals of the
our time and their influence on mankind.
His works, born from the contamination between painting and
video, they are characterized by the continuous search for
movement through the use of particular videos inside the
painting.
In 2016 he created "HYBRIDS", a personal exhibition with the
Gallery Schubert edited by Lavinia Frasca, which includes pieces
from the series "Organic and Bionic" in which the idea of
contamination is approaching
man and technology, but also between painting and video, with
one exchange of roles, the ambiguity of meanings between
achievement the most fascinating dreams and "insufficiency" of a
humanity become "android".
Always at the Schubert Gallery, in 2017, it's time to "EGO-JUMP-A
DIVE INTO THE FUTURE" by Giulia Kimberly Colombo in which he
deepens the themes, already treated in the exhibition precedent,
paying more attention to the problems of current society.
In 2018 the collaboration also intensified with Studio Bolzani
where he realizes his most recent solo show "Nuntio vobis Gaudio-
DEADLY SINS-The mirror of a society "that treats the deadly sins
reinterpreted in contemporary society.
Winner, with the triptych ICON MAKES ICONS, of the contest "Art on
iconic shapes "that allowed him to exhibit in Milan and Bari with
artists such as Banksy and Obey and finalist, in Florence, of the art
prize "EneganArt 2017" with the work ENTERTAINMENT WAR.
He created the cover and illustrations of the book "Luna-Il
Sequestratore di Graal" by Antonio Alvares published by Intrecci
Edizioni and is at work for the second chapter of the saga.
In January 2018 he completed a mural work with video monitors
integrated for "Kanpai-japanese hangout" in via Melzo 12, Milan.
He currently lives and works in Milan, collaborates and exhibits with
Galleries such as Galleria Schubert, Studio Bolzani, Casa d'arte San
Lorenzo, Carré d'artistes (currently on show in Madrid) and Galleria
Unique Turin.
His works are part of public and private collections and has
participated in Italian and foreign art fairs.
