Biography

The work of Pannoli ranges from the visual arts to comics, through to architecture and the graphic arts, animation and design. He graduatede in Architecture from the Polytechnic in Turin, in 1996. In 1997, he participated in the design section in the Biennale dei Giovani Artisti dell’Europa e del Mediterraneo and, in 2000, at big Torino. In 1998 win the Competition Luci d’Artista a Torino with the instalation “L’amore non fa rumore” and, in the same year, together with architect Maria Cristina Milanese, he set up studio Ondesign, which works in the field of design and experimentation, interior architecture, communication and display units for trade fairs and commercial areas. He is a teacher at the Faculty of Architecture at Turin Polytechnic in the degree course on Graphics and Virtual Design. Together with is professional activities, he also does his own artistic research, creating installations that often require the use of light, and which always examine the relationship between reality and fiction, and between visual sign and massage, as emblems of the contemporary world. It was in this perspective that he took part in “Ecofficina” (Turin,2001), “Path of Light” (Glasgow, 2003) and, again in Turin, “In sede 25 artisti per luoghi non comuni” (2005). In 2004 he won the first prize at the international competition of ideas “Illuminar Madrid en Navidad”, organised by the City of Madrid. Another works:
