Biography
I attended APAB School of Photography where I learned to master digital photography techniques and then further my photography education at the three-year photography school Fondazione Studio Marangoni (FSM) which encourages planning skills as well as intellectual and creative growth.
Through my studies I was able to get close to analogue photography and to study art history as well as the history of photography.
While attending FSM, I also had the opportunity to attend hands on photography workshops and to interact with prominent photographers such as Martin Breindl, Wolfgang Zurborn, Jay Wolke, Dejan Atanackovic, George Tatge, Terraproject Collective, Chris Coekin and Riverboom Collective.
I was awarded the FSM scholarship to acknowledge the commitment, consistency and quality of the photographic work that I produced during the three year period in which I attended the school.
While studying and working on several projects as a freelance photographer, I was able to extend my knowledge and to develop a special interest towards social photography, a field aiming to renew awareness towards issues which are often ignored and stereotyped as well as to promote inner/outer interaction through symbolic images and concepts.
