Biography

Beya Gille Gacha was born in Paris. His father is French and her mother Cameroonian thus her process is the one of the intermix. Her creations are the melting pot of her inspirations that she collects from the world's cultures, heritage, and history; she is led by a highly critical though idealistic vision of humanity. After obtaining her Baccaulearate in Applied Arts, she decided to begin her creative career as an autodidact. Thus, her realised her first exhibition at age 19 in Stockholm, Sweden. At the same period, she volunteered as a Plastic Arts teacher in Cameroun. In 2010, she entered l'Ecole du Louvre to satisfy her deep thirst for knowledge and develop her second passion: promoting art. She founded NÉFE in 2013, an association which aims to promote intermix philosophy throughout the contemporary art. Néfe develops cultural projects that meet with cultural, intellectual and creative diversity.
