Biography

Napoleana Nanouli was born in November 3, 1981 in Larissa, Greece.
She has studied graphic design from 2000 to 2002. After preparation in drawing and painting, next to the
painter Kleanthis Hatzinikos, in 2002 she began studying at Accademia di Belle Arti «Pietro Vannucci»
Perugia, Italy. Apprenticed to the painter Sauro Cardinali and the engraver Marilena Scavizzi. In 2005 won
an Erasmus scholarship and studied for a semester at the University of Fine Arts in Barcelona "Universitat
de Barcelona, Facultat de Belles Arts", with Professor Joaquin Chancho. Completing her studies in 2007
with honors, resurching for her thesis "The colour and its representation as light in art."
Her works are in the Accademia di Belle Arti’s «Pietro Vannucci», museum collection,
at the New Hospital of Foligno, at the Hospital of Perugia and in private collections in Italy and Greece.
Today she lives and works as a painter and an artistic professor in Larissa and in the island of Mykonos, Greece.
