Biography
WHO AND HOW
Born in 1979 in Kranj, Slovenia. The beginnings of the study of art were in the studio of the sculptress Dragica Čadež and later with the painter Zmago Modic. In 2004, she began the study of painting at the Academy in Ljubljana and she transferred to the Venetian Academy of Fine Arts in the same year. In 2008, she graduated from Accademia Di Belle Arti di Venezia under the mentorship of professor Carlo di Raco. In 2012, she finished her specialisation at Accademia Di Belle Arti di Venezia under the mentorship of professor Carlo di Raco, professor Gaetano Maineti and Atej Tutta.
The attention for the light and sound objects, characterize the artistic practice of Jazbec creating installations, videos and animations that include the use of more traditional techniques of drawing, collage and sculpture. She lives and works between Italy and Slovenia.
