Biography
My artistic education was born observing the world and the matter.
All materials have its own soul.
When I look at something as on object I like to think that before its birth, it coul have been somebody’s dream while he was creating it, I imagine his thoughts; it is a game.
Through this game, I invent in my mind a story that had brought that “matter to the end”, to me.
The next step consist in dreaming another role, not only decorative: I would like to change the structure to those objects and materials so to become a new expression of capability, maybe unexpected; this is my contribution to the mas they could exist in different shapes and functions.
All has to do with recycle and also with life circularity, something we oftef forget.
"Things" we get rid of, come back through different ways we could not even imagine, because they are strictly connected to our soul.
Alan Bianchi was born in 1971; he began very early to explore oil paint, acrylic, and sculpture. Over the years he got closer to theatre and became an actor, director and scenographer, activities that enable a continuous experimentation and exploration of media and artistic techniques that deeply inform his expressive identity. He uses multiple materials including iron, wood, cloth and of recycled materials. Alan lives and works in Rome.
