Biography
Ana Bloom , is a french photographer, art director and visual artist.
She is the daughter of an Ukrainian-Russian, Cuban , American father and a French mother.
She was brought up in a cosmopolitan and universalist environment.
Since her childhood she practice photography and various forms of Arts.
After a BA in History and a Master in Visual Art, being a producer for fashion show for Kenzo, working as a photo assistant for famous portrait and fashion photographer like Michel Comte, Miles Aldridge, Fabrizio Ferri, Jean-Batiste Mondino, in NY, London, Milan, Paris…
She finally launched her personnal career in Paris in 1998, collaborating with magazine like Libération, Télérama, Marie Claire, Dazed and Confused, The Independent, Cosmopolitan, the trend company « Studio Edelkoort », Milk magazine, le Monde, Private etc…
Her commercial client are Hermes, L’Occitane, Yves Rocher, EMI, Virgin, Naive, Tôt ou Tard etc…
Her Art work turn around question of Identity and question of our relationship with nature.
She also work on assigment for cultural institutions building Artistic workshop for projects housing children sponsored by Unicef.
Her Art work as been published and collected by Contemporary Art Fond ( Seine Saint Denis), The Berezdivin Collection in Puerto Rico. She was exhibited in French and american Gallery, Gallery Mourlot New York, Ilan Engel Paris, Mairie de Paris etc..
Ana is currently based in Paris France
