Biography
I work in documentary, reportage and street photography. My photos have been shown at several international exhibitions and galleries such as Fotografia - Rome International Festival, Urban 2014 and 2015, the Saatchi Gallery and Rome's XI Biennale.
In 2014 I worked in collaboration with photographer Francesca Pompei in former psychiatric institution Santa Maria della Pietà of Rome. This work, titled “Passato Prossimo”, received the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Heritage and Culture. It was exhibited at Rome's International Photography Festival, at the Naked City Festival, and it was included in the Archives of the Fondo Malerba Per La Fotografia.
Recently one of my photos was included in the exhibition "From Pop to Neo-Pop", alongside masters such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Mario Schifano and Keith Haring.
In 2016 a reportage on a non-governmental asylum for migrants and refugees, “The Baobab” has been selected with a special mention for "Oltre Le mura di Roma", an exhibition directed by World Press Photo winner Francesco Zizola and held with the patronage of the City of Rome at MACRO, Rome's Museum of Contemporary Art.
My work is represented in Italy by Collezionando Gallery and in Holland by Nik Berkouwer.
