Biography

Lives and work in Turin. He attended the Fine Arts Academy and won the Pernod National Prime – section students of the Fine Arts Academy - in 1974. He dedicated to line engraving and figurative painting with themes on ecology and environment protection. In the early 90’s he reaches a reserce on sign. His artistic process developes trough works in forms that spread in space, having the Moon and the Hill as subjects. Later his personal researce focus on the Wind, which shakes as a vortex nature and landscape.His latest works denounce the wounds given to nature and, at the same time, to humanity. Made with acrilic tecnique on canvas, these paintings take up the previous theme of The Moon and The Hill. Fernando Montà exposes in personal and group shows in Italy and abroad.
