Biography
Photographer, film director, video artist, painter, performer, based in Sicily and Milan.
Main individual shows in Miami, Mons (Belgium), Genoa, Milan, Athens, Siracusa, Kalamata (Greece), Berlin, New York, Rome, Basel, Prague.
Studies and teaching: Academy of Fine Arts (graduated with honor and dignitiy of print) and Accademia Nazionale di Arti Cinematografiche in Bologna. Adjunct professor of Contemporary Art History, University of Catania.
2009: recipient of Columbia University Prize for Video Art. Same year: winner for the Italian section at the International Video Art Festival "Help" directed by Allison Williams, in Turin.
