Biography
Born in 1966, 2 sons Miki and Vittoria.
I live between Rome and Naples.
Pharmacist, I have worked before in scientific research and communications and then as manager of sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry. After the Master of Business Administration I have launched a start-up initiative in organic cosmetics and currently I work as a business advisor.
It was my father with his Praktica, his films, and slides to arouse my curiosity for what's photo.
As a child, a photo caught me only in part because of the subject/object reported. In an elementary way, perhaps, I was more interested in the conception of the photographer and why he had opted for the index pressure on the shutter button, at that precise moment. Forever.
I never considered the camera a "device", a prosthesis. If anything, the opportunity to grasp of a physical expansion for a free, complex expression of senses and feelings.
In not too long ago, the photos were in fair amount. Tangible in their prints. It worries me the hyperphotography era and the fact that - smartphone in hand - there are at least 6 million users and hundreds, thousands of billions of images/icons per year, "shared" only via monitors or displays.
But endures that my love.
Photography is not a job for me. Not even a passion.
It just is.
It goes with peaks and falls in this my life of peaks and falls.
