Biography
Nikolay Ivanovich Gorsky – one of the talented watercolourists, was born in 1947 in Yekaterinburg. Since childhood, fond of fine arts, graduated from art school P. P. HOTELIA.
However, the profession has opted for the family tradition – became a pilot for many years worked as a pilot in the "Ural airlines", visited more than thirty countries around the world. However, his passion for watercolor (this is a favorite technique of the artist) have left.
Personal exhibition of Nikolai Ivanovich was held in Yekaterinburg (1989), Pervouralsk, Yuzhno-Kurilsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (1996), Sweden.
In 2001. he organized in Yekaterinburg, a joint exhibition with Japanese artists. The exhibition "Dream angel" the artist presented about 50 works – landscapes, still lifes. Visitors were able to see the beauty of the Urals ("the Chusovaya river", "Staroutkinsk", "Morning on the Shartash") and the unique nature of the Kuril Islands ("Kuril nuances", "Kunashir", "Bay Malokurilskoe").
