Biography
The characteristic Pavart spac, located in the heart of Trastevere in Rome was founded in 2010, by Velia Littera. It is a curious blend of a design studio and art gallery. The goal of the owner was to mix her well-established expertise in the field of design with her passion for art, so to create a place open to different targets and above all, a space where you "breathe" the desire of communication and sharing arts, between the location and its history and among the different interlocutors that once they got to live in it and live it. Wandering in between the walls of Pavart you have the feeling of being inside a "palimpsest" full of solitation and in contact with an attractive alternative to an aseptic "white cube" we are used to. The gallery rich of history adds a persuasive voice to dialogue between design work and that of artists which are hosted alternately. Artists all mainly not famous or even unknown and find with Pavart their chance to "unlock" their ART. A chance who deserves anyone who decides to get "naked" or espress "his art", as every artist does, in a world that too often is dressed in "uncomfortable uniforms" or silent towards who should instead "yell".
