Biography
In the late 70’th Luca Scodellari worked as satiric designer for the most relevant italian satiric magazine:
Il Male, Il Mago, L’ira di Dio and Il Sale.
While he was following the Brera Academy he had a collaboration as illustrator for De Vecchi editor, regarding the “Enciclopedia delle barzellette“ by Gino Bramieri.
At the same time he had a collaboration with Rizzoli Group for the magazine Max.
Later on he started a professional activity as art director at Saatchi & Saatchi in Milan, J.W.Thompson Madrid, Euro Rscg Paris, McCann Erickson Milan, as creative director at Marsteller Advertising Milan receiving awards in Italy, Usa and Spain.
From 2007 to 2013 he was founder and partner of a film production company producing medium length film, whose copyrights purchased by the 20Th Century Fox Film Corporation.
During his career he received several national and international awards.
He presented his paintings in Italy and abroad with the support of the Presidency of the European Parliament - Ministry for Arts/Culture and the International Academy of Modern Art (A.I.A.M).
Luca Scodellari was mentioned in the book “La via italiana all’informale” in chapter the heirs of Burri and Fautrier published by Giorgio Mondadori.
Luca is now living and working in Milan, Mantova and the lake of Garda.
