Biography
Francesco Lorenzetti is a Portrait Painter and he was born in Siena in 1976, where he lives and works. He started at drawing using mechanical pencil, lead and charcoal and he got used to circulism technique and graphite dust drawing. Later on he choosed Oil painting as his favorite technique getting deep into portraiture but also still life as long as "they're not too still and lifeless" he says.
About his portraits he says: «What I want to do when I make a portrait is not only catching the likeness, but “to freeze” the soul that reigns into the look and through it sharing all my emotional feelings that inspired me».
