Biography
Adriana was born in Colombia but moved to Curacao where she grew up since she was six.
She enjoyed herself growing up on the beautiful island between rough nature and unpaved streets.
She finished her secondary school in the department of economics but decided that that was not for me and decided to try art.
She than started to attend the contemporary art institute IBB (Instituto Buena Bista in curacao) in 2009 to learn and develop her vision about art and to prepare her portfolio to enter an art academy in the Netherlands.
After her first year at IBB she was accepted in to the Art academy Artez, the AKI in Enschede . From which she graduated in the summer of 2015 in the Sculpture Department.
Now she lives in works in Enschede, Netherlands as an independent artist. Making sculptures, collages and drawings, participating in different expositions and projects to keep developing her own language in the field of art.
