Biography
Cities, made up of steel and concretes, are often perceived as utterly devoid of life and humanity. However, we actually live in those cities and we experience every bit of wonders of the life. It was a striking irony to me and I wanted to present the impressions in a distinct and warmer fashion.
I wanted to take a closer look into our every usual day with full of life, in a cold, material city. To express cold and artificial city environment, palette knives were used for keen and clean touches. Also, the people in the city are expressed as small, seemingly unimportant entities. However, each person has tiny, colorful and variety of life, drawn with fast but subtle brush strokes.
