Biography

I work with interactive and responsive media to reflect the complexity and dynamism of the information-heavy world. By curating the dynamic messages that we experience I draw attention to disjunctures, hypocrisies, surprises and humorous juxtapositions between the now and the possible. My practice is concept specific and spans across the senses, using installation, sculpture, performance and painting. I work with questions relating to the interplay between the self and the environment, drawing on multiple knowledges from embodied to cognitive to digital, in order to elaborate the modes by which the inside and the outside communicate, exploring notions of self and other.

I am currently Artist in Residence at UCL Faculty of Maths and Physical Sciences. I lecture on art and science worldwide, including on the BASc at UCL.
