Biography
Francesca Ferreri, Born in Savigliano (CN) in 1981, BA in Fine art at the Accademia Albertina delle Belle Arti in Torino.
Among recent group exhibitions:
IN 2011 is selected for the Venice Art Biennale curated by Vittorio Sgarbi (Academy Pavillion) and Grantorino in Miami to represent young art of Turin in a group exhibition at the FROST Museum. Then is invited to Athens VideoArt Festival in Athen (Greece). In 2010 is selected for a group Video exhibition at MERZ Foundation in Turin, curated by Francesco Poli and her video Mirrortwice is selected for Torinover, an international video show (Turin, Glasgow, Rotterdam, Salt Lake City, Nagoya) in 2009 she was selected for Nuovi arrivi/Proposte – st.art me up, curator Maria Teresa Roberto, Ars Captiva: horror pleni, horror vacui at the former prison Le Nuove in Torino, Torinover 09 by Elisa Lenhard, ZooArt by ASS.Art.ur in Cuneo, DAIMON3 by Paradigma and New York-Torino - Nuove proposte

In 2008 she held a solo show called Sometimes I feel like at the Accademia Albertina and took part in Convergenze Parallele: la contemporaneità italiana nel lavoro di due gallerie, by Edoardo Di Mauro at Palazzo Boglietti (Biella), in 2007 Ars Captiva: percorsi di liberazione creativa at the former prison Le Nuove
in Torino, and Novello Torinese at Villa Capriglio by GianAlberto Farinella and in Milano she took part in the group exhibition intersezioni by Renato Galbusera espone held at Spazio Guicciardini. She worked with NMB Studio and currently works with Fusion Art Gallery in Torino.
Fascinated by the Brain, she uses scientific drawing to combine it with metaphors, suggesting evocative messages, often through traditional animation tecnique.
