Biography
Born in Aleppo, Syria, and raised in the U.S., Christine Gedeon is currently based in Berlin and New York. In her work, she creates site-specific string installations, and works on canvas and paper, using architecture and mapping as a common theme. She was awarded an A.I.R. Gallery Fellowship, The Bronx Museum (AIM 30) residency, and has shown her work in numerous galleries and museums in North America, Europe, and Asia.
