Biography
Salar Niknafs is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher and art director, working across a variety of media, ranging from photography and video to sound and musical composition. In his art he primarily engages with experimental and documentary aesthetic forms. He often focuses on abstract perceptions of self and its relation to spaces it occupies, to open up a discussion about identity. In his research Salar explores concepts and methods at the intersection of art and science in an attempt to act as a mediator between the two.
