Biography
Panitings- Maps- Citigramas- they are created as a kind of a diary. It shows my subsequent ports of calls of my life journey in a symbolic way.
Anna Kruszak was born in 1982 in Kraków. A graduate of the State High School of Visual Arts in Kraków. When she was a third-grade student her work titled "Atrium" was awarded a price at the 6th International Art and Music Competition for High School Students. The artist submitted the diploma in 2001, supported with a project in ceramics which won an award. In 2003 Anna commenced studies at The Cracow Academy of Fine Arts at The Departament of Painting under prof. Leszek Misiak- a master to such art stars as Wilhelm Sasnal. She was conferred a Master of Arts degree with a very good result in 2008. Between 2003 and 2008 the artist lived in England, where she established Gallerana Art Gallery. In 2006 Ms. Kruszak's work titled "Bow" was selected to be exhibited at The Fifth International Painting Biennial of Painting in Torino, Italy. The artist took part in a number of exhibitions including her first solo show held at The Palace of Fine Arts in Cracow in 2011 and her latest collective exposition named "No Pink" presenting 8 Polish female artists, held in Arsenał Municipal Gallery in Poznań, Poland. The artist's works can be found in many private galleries abroad (including Japan, Ireland, the UK ) and in Poland. At present she’s living and working in Kraków.
