Biography
Silvio Giordano was born on the 27th of November 1977 in Potenza, Italy. He lives and works in Milan.
His artistic research is always evolving and his visual artworks are very diverse (videos, photographs, performances, installations, illustrations) because his goal is to create an original synthesis of different art “languages”. The themes that Silvio Giordano explores in his work are catastrophic foresights connected to the idea of death, ego diversity, sickness, sex, sarcasm and environmental damages.
He has won the Celeste Prize in 2009 and the Roma Europa Web Factory in 2010, he has been invited to the Video Art Biennial in Korea and his works have been exhibited at the Italian Cultural Institutes of New York and Los Angeles etc..
