Biography
I work the cardboard, the one that is corrugated, that of packaging and shipping boxes. I like the hidden "facade" of the cardboard, the one closed between the two outer covers: are the waves inside that I like to show off.
This side of the cardboard does not really exist, it needs to be rebuilt. That's why I cut the cardboard sheet in lot of slices that then reassemble, rotating by 90 degrees and gluing them together. As by magic, the cardboard becomes other, it is transformed from easily squeezable material into "rock", into three-dimensional objects, from flat sheet of an insignificant box into design, into art.
