Biography
Since moving to Chicago from the deserts of Colorado in 2015, I have been fascinated by the abundance in this city. I am thrown into a neighborhood blender with people from everywhere imaginable, we are growing giant gardens with leaves that grow bigger than our heads, buckets of rain come from every direction, and maddening magical chants of bugs fill the humid air. So much growth, decay, invention, opportunity are here. All of this is combined with the hourly record of life and death scenarios from a city that insists on doing “everything at once”.
