Biography

I was born in Rome in 1979 and I grew up in Italy, India and Indonesia since 3 years old till my adolescence, reflecting my self in a various intercultural female imagery. I continued to travel and I got a degree in Cultural Anthropology in Rome, in the meantime studying also: Photography and Acting.
Anthropology, Photography and Theatre became the principal professional subjects trough with I fill the pleasure and the necessity to express my personal prospectives and which assures me a creative swinging status as a mediator between different countries an languages. As a photographer, I work with jazz magazines, the Accademia Ottoboni di Musica Antica, fashion collaborations, art photography, book, portraits, landscapes and reportages. The first of these described the life among tribal villages in the North-East of India (living there during a fieldwork). Since some years, my attention is focalized mostly on Bangladesh and the bangladeshi community in Italy. Some reportages came out, exposed and published, about the original families in Bangldesh, their reconstracted families in Rome and the ongoing transformation of bangladeshi women reality.
