Biography

Yulia Bogdanova was born in Russia.

She has been living in Switzerland for five years. Although she has been enthusiastic about drawing and painting since her childhood, she has never visited an artistic school of painting. At the age of 16, she went on her first trip to South Africa. This changed her life and world view, and aroused the desire to portray it. She met an artist who told her that Yulia would further your talent.

In the course of the year 2001 Yulia took private lessons in her home town with the sculptor A. Schebunin. In 2002 she passed examinations at the V.V. School of Art. Weretschagin, Tcherepovets.

During her studies, she learned: anatomy, visual perspective, painting, drawing, sculpture and art history took part in exhibitions.

In 2007, after graduating from the School of Art, she went to Moscow and studied interior architecture and design at the Moscow Art and Industry Institute. During her studies she worked as an interior designer.

In 2010 she moved to Switzerland. Since 2014, she has been teaching painting classes in Zurich and environs for children and adults.

In 2016 she returns to her passion.

In September 2016 she took part in the first Basel art market.
