The secretariat of rural art program held its thirty third program on the occasion of international museum day in 17th and 18th of May in Kootena village.
More than 50 artists from different parts of the country (Tehran, Mazandaran, Khoozestan, Fars, Alborz…) presented their art including new art,performance, installation, recycling, video art, environmental art and… in these two days.
There were lots of different programs in these two days including:
An exhibition of village's old photos, an exhibition of rural children's painting from all over the country, a painting exhibition of a 5 years old child, video shows, speeches and ..
The most important event was the unveiling of the statue of rural art program which had been designed and made by Mehdi Samakoosh the painter and sculptor.
The rural art policy council secretariat announced that this statue will be given to the artist or artistic group which will be chosen as the best by audience in the next rural art programs.
