I love the inspirational work of Lou Reade. She remains in contact with the world as it is and as she sees it through her eyes. Lou allows the spectator to enjoy the intimate spaces between the objects she paints. With her present love of painting bicycles and the current success by Team GB in cycling at the London Olympics,perhaps we can look forward to seeing this particular artform grow in her work.
