Similar to some of her previous works, Fiorella Bologna creates a strong complicity between art an poetry. On exploring the island step by step, the Ligurian artist felt the necessity to confront herself with this suggestive placein whicch she recognizeshe generator of her own ideas. In this way,a synergy between the site, art an Man comes into being, and on the other side, with the poetry of an intriguing personality on the search of the promised land , Alda Merini. A Nest for Alda ,realized with branches found on the Island andsubsequenty woven, wear the traceof the Milanese poet's daily attitudes, the burning red of her lipstich, with which Fiorella Bologna paints some of the branches that extend themselves towards the sky, like a torment completely internalized into words. The art installation has been conceived interactive for the visitos of the Island: whoever passes, receives the silent message to stop, to sit dowu, to read the poems by Alda Merini on the leaves sprend in front of the hill: in order to enchant a funeral song on the past.
